- Browse videos & DVDs available at all UNC libraries. Borrowing policies may vary.
- Search the UNC library catalog for your topic / title, and narrow results to Format = Videos and DVDs on the left.
Streaming Online
- FMG On Demand provides streaming video of full length documentaries.
- Video Collection (NCLive) Includes PBS videos such as the 'American Experience' series, 'Frontline,' 'Scientific American Frontiers,' Ken Burns' 'Baseball' and 'The Civil War.
- Television News Archive (Vanderbil)t. Over 30,000 network evening news broadcasts from the major U.S. national broadcast networks: ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN, and over 9,000 hours of news-related programming. 1968 to present (NBC), 1995 to present (CNN); many available without charge.
- Hulu Includes complete and excerpted television shows. Some full-length movies are available. Some content requires free registration. Copyright is protected, and users of the site must be at least 13 years old. Founded by NBC Universal and News Corp, and operated independently.
- Moving Image Archive Includes classic full-length films, daily alternative news broadcasts, cartoons and concerts. From archive.org
- WPA Film Library owns or represents over one hundred footage collections - from newsreels
to political hearings, classic Americana to riveting musical performances.
